Hi, my name is Breda. I am a qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy with ICPPD. I am a fully Accredited member of the IACP (Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
My therapeutic modalities are Humanistic & Integrative, Person-Centred, along with CBT, Mindfulness and others. I provide individual therapy sessions for Adolescents and Adults. I volunteer with Vita House in Roscommon and I also have had the privilege of volunteering with The East Galway and Midlands Cancer Centre Ballinasloe and with St. Catherine’s Counselling Service Tallaght Dublin.
“I work with clients in an empathetic, supportive and non-judgmental way, giving the client a safe and confidential space to be heard and explore what their issues are with understanding and compassion. I am committed to helping people build healthier relationships with themselves in all areas of their life. I believe in empowering the client and building a trusting relationship with them, assisting and guiding them to make informed choices and making sure they play the lead role in the therapeutic process, all the while at the client’s own pace. I am privileged and honored to be a part of that process for my clients and be able to watch them become the very best versions of themselves”.
Breda supports the client in developing better coping methods, facilitates healing and provides structured
support in assisting the client in bringing about positive change in their lives.
