Fully qualified Reflexologist since 2023 in Foot Reflexology (including Hand Reflexology, Baby & Child Reflexology, Anatomy & Physiology) with the MF Wellness School of Reflexology & Holistic Therapies in Loughrea, Galway.
About me – In the past I have worked in Marketing, hospitality & as a Healthcare Assistant. Personal circumstances led me down the holistic therapies route and I find the home/work balance suits me. I have always been drawn to working with people in a caring capacity and find it hugely rewarding to help people through Reflexology. My mother was a Reflexologist and I have known the benefits of this wonderful therapy since I was a teenager. I am a mother to two young daughters myself and have found Reflexology to be hugely beneficial to my kids and family members.
I have also completed CPD certificates in:
– Indian Head Massage (2022).
– Advanced Reflexology for Special Needs (2023).
– Visual Reflexology & Foot Reading (2023).
What is Reflexology: Reflexology is a natural holistic therapy based on the discovery that there are points on the feet, hands and face which correspond to organs, systems and structures within the entire body. As a holistic practitioner I can assess imbalances in the person as a whole and treat them by attempting to help the person’s own healing energy resolve these imbalances.
Foot Reflexology – I work on two feet at the same time, using cornflour, coconut oil and moisturising creams throughout the treatment.
Hand Reflexology – I start with the right hand and then the left hand working from elbow to tips of fingers using coconut oil and moisturising creams.
Essential oils are not used, however may be an ingredient in some creams. Any allergies can be catered for and unscented creams applied in this case.
Facilities:
– Feet will be gently cleansed before treatments to ensure client comfort.
– Clients can relax in my cosy zero gravity reclining chair for foot/hand treatments. Relaxing background music is played, clients can choose music also.
– Wheelchair users are welcome in the Dancing Soul Mondays & Fridays. If the wheelchair can recline this is ideal for me to access feet.
