My approach is integrative, humanistic and person-centred, which seeks to build a strong interpersonal relationship with clients. This is built on a foundation of compassion, empathy, respect and trust. I provide a safe non-judgmental space and meets clients exactly where they are. My wish is for clients is to become empowered and find their own unique path to healing. I tailor to his clients needs using aspects from various counselling approaches, for example cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) attachment theory, and Gestalt therapy.
I practice humanistic and integrative therapy and hold a Master’s degree in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (Clinical) from the Tivoli Institute, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. I also holds a double honours bachelor degree in philosophy and sociology, from Maynooth University, offering a deeper philosophical and sociological lens to both the internal journey of the soul and external journal of life.
I am accredited member of The Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), and abide by the code of ethics laid down by the IACP.
