I am a CORU-registered Dietitian offering compassionate, evidence-based nutrition
counselling to adults, children, and adolescents. With nearly 20 years of experience, I bring a
depth of clinical expertise and a person-centred, supportive approach to all aspects of my
work.
I currently specialise in Mental Health Nutrition, having spent the past nine years working
across both Adult and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I support
individuals experiencing disordered eating and eating disorders, including Binge Eating
Disorder, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, ARFID, and OSFED. My approach is weight-
inclusive, non-diet, and rooted in helping people develop a more peaceful and empowered
relationship with food.
I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), who may experience unique challenges around eating. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental
space for all clients, where they feel heard, respected, and supported in making sustainable
changes.
Prior to specialising in mental health, I worked across acute and community settings in areas
such as diabetes care, cardiology, and weight management. This broad experience has
given me a strong foundation in clinical nutrition and behaviour change counselling.
My practice is built on the principles of food freedom and compassion. I help clients move
away from rigid food rules, navigate challenging food behaviours, and build nourishing
habits that align with their values and individual needs.
In addition to one-to-one work, I am available for:
- Corporate wellbeing events
- Workshops and webinars
- Community and group talks
- Sports nutrition talks for clubs, coaches, and athletes
I have a keen interest in Sports Nutrition, particularly in supporting athletes with their
relationship with food, performance fuelling, and maintaining adequate energy
availability—especially those at risk of disordered eating.
I hold a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, an MSc in Weight Management, and have
completed substantial additional training in eating disorders. I am a member of the Irish
Nutrition and Dietetic Institute (INDI).
If you’re looking for evidence-based support that respects your lived experience and
promotes lasting wellbeing, I’d be glad to connect.
